ChefConf is the largest gathering of the Chef community, featuring state-of-the-art content from teams leading the way to becoming faster, more efficient, and innovative with their technical practices. Share your story with attendees from across industries and around the world. Share your lessons learned, lay out your best practices for forward-thinking practitioners and industry leaders from financial services, healthcare, education, transportation, entertainment and more.
ChefConf 2020 will be in Seattle, at the Hyatt Regency, on June 1-4, 2020. You can also submit on this form for ChefConf London 2020! It will be June 15-17 in Central London.
The ChefConf 2020 breakout sessions will be 40-45 minute talks. Our attendees love to hear how you have leveraged modern tools to create success for your business, so tell us all about it. Demos are definitely encouraged, but aren’t required; we dig a good “soft skills” talk too.
Attendees at ChefConf are eager to learn from your successes, failures, and experiments. Share how you adopted new tools and ways of thinking about your goals. Tell us about your journey to be a learning organization or how your teams became more outcome-oriented. What tips and tricks do you have for improving speed and quality in your projects. Give us a good story that only you can share.
Not sure what exactly to talk about? Check out last year’s sessions on our YouTube Channel.
The ChefConf audience is a mix of developers, engineers, architects, sys admins, and IT or DevSec leaders that are trying to figure out how to ship applications faster, safer, and more reliably. They are building at a scale and across multiple infrastructures including various public and private cloud systems. They’re architecting, building, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining some of the apps you use everyday and the ones you don’t know you use at all.
All attendees, including speakers, must adhere to the Chef Code of Conduct.
All approved speakers receive a full pass to ChefConf, including all meals on conference days and attendance at the evening activities. Speakers can also choose to attend the Community Summit and Hack Day activities free of charge.
We’ll also be looking for speakers willing to do pre-show PR with our team, as well as onsite interviews at ChefConf.
We also offer our speakers coaching free of charge. This is your chance to work with a professional speaker coach to refine and polish your talk, ask questions, and get advice. She’ll be here to help you be great!
